On May 18, 2020, at the Office of the International Economics Faculty (IEF), Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City (BUH), the Organizing Committee of the Competition “The Hero overcoming Covid” and the Minigame “Magnanimous Historical Page” met and gave gifts to the winning candidates. The gift-giving moment happened in the excitement and joy of the Organizing Committee and the contestants also.
To create an interesting and useful playground for all students of BUH during the university closures in order to preventthe Covid 19 pandemic, the Hochiminh Communist Youth Union of IEF organized the two above online competitions and received the attention and response of a large number of students. With the careful preparation and investment in terms of both the content and form of the Organizing Committee members, as well as the enthusiastic participation of BUH’s students, both competitions were successful and left many imprints, beautiful memories in the hearts of candidates.

Through The Hero overcoming Covid” competition, the students partlyrelieved the stress of the pandemic time, concurrently increased their responsibility to the community and thanked the “soldiers” who have been fighting the pandemic day and night. Besides, the “Magnanimous Historical Page” minigame increased national pride, patriotism, and gratitude to the heroes who “donated their blood” to protect our country.
