DHL collaborates with Shopify to streamline logistics for sellers.

The DHL service has been activated in Shopify Shipping, a platform that offers discounted shipping rates and various other features for sellers. It is expected that by 2026, the DHL shipping option will be expanded to other major markets in Europe, America, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Currently, sellers on Shopify can access shipping services from DHL, UPS, and USPS at discounted rates. Specifically for DHL Express, Shopify's website indicates that sellers can save up to 80% on international shipping costs due to this agreement.

The collaboration between DHL and Shopify aims to assist millions of online sellers in optimizing their domestic and international shipping operations. Notably, a significant advantage for sellers in the US is the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service, which helps buyers avoid unexpected additional costs such as import taxes or customs duties.

Boot Barn shifts production to Vietnam, India

The American footwear retailer Boot Barn is adjusting its supply chain by reducing production in China and shifting to Vietnam, India, and Cambodia to avoid high tariffs.

More than five years ago, China accounted for over 50% of Boot Barn’s private-label product sourcing. However, this proportion has dropped to 24% in fiscal year 2025 and will continue to decline to 12% in the next fiscal year.

Boot Barn does not directly pay tariffs on goods purchased from external suppliers, but it is indirectly affected by rising prices. To respond, the company has reviewed its inventory structure and canceled orders with low profit margins that were impacted by tariffs.

The strategy of shifting production to countries such as Vietnam, India, and Cambodia not only helps Boot Barn minimize tariff costs but also diversifies geopolitical risks and maintains stable profit margins in the long term
