Besides, many limitations still exist in logistics costs; the link between manufacturing, import-export and logistics service enterprises are not tight and ineffective. Therefore, it is necessary to promote comprehensive development of logistics services according to the 4.0 Industrial Revolution direction and optimally exploit the effectiveness of digital transformation and green transformation in the Logistics field to reduce costs, increase competitiveness as well as minimizing negative impact on the environment.

The solution "Port and logistics integrated ecosystem with combined application of digital ecosystem" is a green logistics solution that promotes green transportation methods to facilitate customers while providing many convenient services and reducing costs for businesses. In addition, businesses always promote the use of clean energy to implement green logistics systems, balancing economic efficiency and environment.

THE PRICE IS RISING, AND COFFEE EXPORTS COULD REACH 4.5 - 5 BILLION USD IN 2024.

According to statistics from the General Customs Department, in November 2023, Vietnam's coffee exports reached 80 thousand tons, earning 252 million USD, down 37.9% in volume and 17.5% in value compared to November 2022. In October, Vietnam's coffee export volume hit a record low, reaching only 43,720 tons, with a value of about 157.6 million USD. Compared to the same period last year, coffee exports sharply decreased by 48.8% in volume and 28% in value.

The Vietnam Coffee-Cocoa Association believes that the increase in coffee export prices leads to a corresponding increase in domestic coffee prices. It is expected that the total coffee export volume for the whole year 2023 will reach around 1.72 million tons, with a value of over 4.2 billion USD. This sets a new record for coffee exports in recent years.

According to Mr. Do Ha Nam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intimex Group, despite a significant decline in Vietnam's coffee exports in 2023, with an expected annual decrease of 15%. While exports decreased, the price of coffee beans in Vietnam increased in 2023, sometimes reaching 70,000 VND/kg.

Forecasting the coffee export situation in 2024, Mr. Thai Nhu Hiep, Vice Chairman of Vicofa, acknowledges that the coffee export for the 2023-2024 crop year can reach 4.5-5 billion USD thanks to the continued increase in coffee prices while the production volume decreases.
