It’s a great honor to welcome Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Ha Thi Thieu Dao - Head of the faculty of International Economics, Ph.D. Nguyen Minh Sang - Deputy head of the faculty of International Economics, Ph.D. Ho Thuy Ai - Deputy head of the faculty of International Economics, and the 35th course’s advisory lecturers in total. Last but not least, it’s been our pleasure to provide a warm reception to Ms. Cao Thi Canh - Alumni of the 30th course, Mr. Luong The Dinh - student of the 32nd course, majoring in International Economics, Representative of the affiliated clubs, and all of the 35th-course freshmen in total.

In the beginning, Bich Loan, a freshman from class DH35KQ03, provided us with an entertainment programme “Việt Nam và những chuyến đi”. This performance showed us the confidence of our faculty’s first-year students and how energetic they are.

Secondly, the leadership of the International Economics faculty delivered to us an introduction about the curriculum of the International Economics faculty and a load of sincere advice.

After that, the students of the faculty of International Economics were awarded the scholarships. For the hope of supporting, stimulating the students with terrific achievement and encouraging our students’ studying, the faculty of International Economics awarded 4 superior students who passed the entry exam with the highest point 4 scholarships (the priority points is not included), the list contains Luong Thi Mui - DH35KQ02, Huynh Thi Truc - DH35KQ02, Dang Thi Ngoc Anh - DH35KQ03, Bui Ngoc Bao Chau - DH35KQ04.

In addition, the students joined in so many electrifying games with members of the faculty of International Economics. At the same time, the entertainment group of the International Economics faculty, International English Club, and Mai Loan - freshman from DH35KQ05 brought us lots of interesting performances. Then, the alumni shared with us a load of valuable experiences, advice, and occupational orientation. Ms. Dang Tran Phuong An - the 18th-course student who spent 12 years working as a manager in foreign banks such as Bank of China, Indovinabank, Citibank,... At present, she is working as a founder of DreamStation Initiative, Ms. Cao Thi Canh - the 30th-course student, is working as an import and export sales staff in Phulimex Import and Export Company Limited, Mr. Luong The Dinh - the 32nd-course student, is working as a Logistic Businessman in ITI Logistics Viet Nam.
Besides studying, students should improve their soft skills to be more active in college life. So, there is a part for freshmen students to communicate with members from IEF Union and affiliated clubs. After that, the students could know more about the activities of the Union - Association and find out which environment is suitable for their development.

At the last part of the programme, the freshmen will meet their advisory lecturers - the ones who would accompany them in the next 4 years. The first-year students could find out more information about their studying in the future and they can work together easily. Everyone feels proud and excited when they are working with our dear teachers.
